Lego Club

• LEGO® Club is based on Lego ® – Based therapy which was devised by Daniel LeGoff in the USA.  
• During Lego Club 3 pupils build a ‘model’ together with each person having a specific role within the group: 
• An Engineer: uses their language skills to give instructions 
• A Supplier: listens to the engineer and finds the pieces 
• A Builder: listens to the engineer and builds the model 

This intervention helps to develop pupil’s social and communication skills in a number of areas: 

• shared attention and listening skills 
• understanding language concepts & following instructions 
• developing spoken language skills 
• working as a team, sharing and taking turns 
• joint problem solving 
• social interaction with peers & shared enjoyment
