I would like to wish you all a very warm welcome to Knowsley Central School’s website.

Knowsley Central School is a special school situated in Knowsley Local Authority. It provides educational provision for pupils that have an Education, Health and Social Care Plan due to having severe learning difficulties and/ or complex autism.

Knowsley Central School is recognised as an Outstanding school. Our school has been accredited by NAS (National Autistic Society) and we are extremely proud of the achievements of all members of our school community.

Our pupils are grouped according to stage of development and follow a curriculum designed to meet their needs. We strive to provide the very best learning and development opportunities for all our pupils and ensure a personalised learning journey is provided for each individual pupil.

Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do in school and we welcome the positive contribution of our parents and carers, staff, governors and all school stakeholders and together we can ensure that ‘everyone is a star and can shine in our learning community’.
