Class Willow information

In class Willow we have 11 pupils and 4 adults; Megan (class teacher), Amena (TA), Olivia (TA) and Megan (TA). We are working on the Foundations pathway for our curriculum areas.

In class Willow one of the key focus’ within our curriculum is developing children’s language, communication and interaction skills. All children are supported with their communication and were needed advice is provided by our school speech and language therapist. Children access daily sensory circuits and movement breaks to meet our individual sensory needs. Other small group interventions include access to the sensory room, immersive room and various outside areas. We take part in exciting multi-sensory lessons to enhance and build upon our knowledge.

We have a very busy school year ahead of us; recapping previous learning, building on our key skills and exploring new topics.
