The school operates an open-door policy. Parents who believe their child may benefit from the education provided at Knowsley Central School can make contact with the school directly to arrange a visit to meet the Head teacher or Associate Head teacher.
Knowsley Central is a school for children with Special Educational needs and this means that pupils can only attend if they have an Education, Health and Care Plan or ‘Statement of Special Educational Needs’. The school has caters for pupils with a wide range of educational needs from 4-14 and offers a fully inclusive curriculum. The Key Stage 3 (Secondary) Provision is specific for pupils who have a diagnosis of ASC and only pupils with this diagnosis can attend.
